瑪舍登巴（西元1312年）為木雅前五學者之一，號馬啥登巴，譯名寶賢大師。於西元1341年（藏曆然熊六水狗年）在康什紮村修建喀什扎寺（俗稱新貢噶寺，佛學院設於此)。

② Mase Tonpa Rinchen Zangpo was born in the Fire-Snake year of the 5^th calendrical cycle (1317) in Eastern Kham. He met Karmapa Rangjung Dorje and studied many deep teachings with him. He spent 12 years in a Kalacakra retreat.He was able to mediate any disturbances that arose. In a dream he saw a place in Eastern Minyak not very far from Gangkar Monastery. There he built a new monastery at Chakrasamvara’s place called Mase Kusi-drak which became famous very soon. Later he built a shedra there.The number of his disciples increased to about 600. In 1374 Karmapa Rolpa Dorje visited the area, and Mase Tonpa served as his interpreter. Mase Tonpa died in 1383, aged 67.
